Nazar means ‘evil eye’ in Turkish. The evil eye is a curse or legend believed to be cast by a malevolent glare, usually given to a person when they are unaware. Talismans created to protect against the evil eye are also frequently called "evil eyes" and in Turkey, come in the form of handmade glass charms. The Nazar ring is our interpretation of an ‘evil eye’ protective charm, featuring a beautiful antique blue lapis lazuli cabochon set on a textured brass hexagon with a sterling silver ring band.
*please note, because of the natural quality of the lapis lazuli gemstones, color and texture of each stone may vary.
